Summer Stock Up Blog Hop!

What teacher really takes the summer off?  We are always thinking and planning for the next year.  To help you along, I've teamed with some amazing blogging buddies to bring you some must-have freebies for your classroom next year!

For this hop, I'm showcasing a BRAND new product I've created called BOUNCING POLYMER BALL!   It's part of my Interactive Science Series and it's perfect for introducing the scientific method.

Science experiments can be intimidating and there is always a concern with how many materials you are going to have to buy.  This experiment only requires 3 ingredients and the step-by-step instructions in this pack make it super simple to do.

The interactive notebook included in this pack is perfect for introducing the scientific method.  Plus, there are options for differentiating this activity for your struggling writers.

Other elements of this interactive notebook include sections for research, hypotheses, observations, and a materials list.

Attach the Safe Student Contract and Scientific Method Wheel inside the front and back covers of your interactive notebooks (lined paper in duo-tangs works well too!) so they are always right at your students' fingertips!

Your kids will LOVE having their own bouncy ball to take home at the end of the day!

Also included in this pack is a Writing Procedure Booklet that includes pages for first, next, then, after that and finally.  I like to have students complete this booklet the next day during our writer's workshop.

Would you like to win a copy of this pack for your classroom?  Enter today for your chance to win!

Sweet Find!

Just a quick post to share this sweet little find at Michael's Arts & Crafts today.

These tiny alphabet stamps made by studio g come in both upper and lower case letters and include punctuation!!! There are 30 stamps in each set AND they are only $1.50 each!!!!  I'm going to use them to change up our word work centre.  Afterall, novelty is key with the littles!

Plus, I figure the smaller size will require them to concentrate harder to keep those sentences straight!

How would you use these stamps in your classroom?

41 No Prep Math Quizzes & A Freebie!

Phew!  After many, many days of working on this puppy I am so happy it is done!  My newest resource is something I've wanted to put together for a long time.  I needed a way to quickly assess my students at various points throughout a math unit so I put together 41 quick quizzes that cover most of the major skills I am teaching.  I was also finding that so much time passes between teaching a unit and report cards that sometimes I feel like I need just one more piece of assessment so I can confidently do my final reports.  Here's a look at what's included:

It's on sale until the end of the weekend so grab it now at a reduced price!

And now for your freebie from this pack!
